Filter Driers & Accessories

Filter driers trap moisture and debris in the refrigerant circuit, protecting the expansion valve and the compressor. They are inexpensive, but skipping them after opening a system is a common cause of repeat failures.

Choosing filter Driers & Accessories

• Match the connection size and type (flare or solder) and the refrigerant, since some driers are gas-specific.
• Choose the right capacity for the system, and fit the drier in the correct flow direction.
• Replace the drier every time the circuit is opened for a compressor or valve change.
