Before you order: four quick checks

• Match the code: compare 163S with the number on your old part, its box or its label.
• Check the connections: this one has 3/8" Sweat connections. Flare and solder connections are not interchangeable, so measure your line and check the type of connection before you order.
• Check the type: this one is listed as a liquid line filter drier. Make sure it is the type your system needs, and tell us if you are unsure.
• Isolate the power and recover the refrigerant before you cut or open the line. Solder connections involve a flame, so follow your site's hot-work safety rules, and evacuate the system after the work. Send a photo of the old part or its label on WhatsApp and we confirm the match.
