Yes. You can request R410A, R32, R22, R407C, R134a, R404A and other gases, together with driers, oils and gauges. Tell us the gas on the unit's nameplate and the cylinder size, and we confirm availability and delivery. Gas should only be handled by a trained technician.

Look for the label on the part itself and on the unit's nameplate. Capacitors show microfarads and voltage, motors show power and speed, and compressors show a model number. If the label is worn, send a photo of the old part and the nameplate and we will identify it.

A humming outdoor unit that does not start is most often a weak or failed start or run capacitor, and sometimes a seized fan motor or compressor. Switch the unit off and have a technician check the capacitor first; it is a quick and inexpensive repair.

Start and run capacitors, condenser fan motors, contactors and compressors fail most often because units run for long hours in high heat. On the coast, corroded coils and control boards are also common, and inland, dust blocks filters and coils.

Replacing a capacitor is a routine job, but it carries electrical risk because capacitors can hold a charge after the power is off. Unless you are trained, ask a qualified technician to fit it, and match the microfarads and voltage of the old capacitor.

R22 is an older HCFC gas being phased out. R410A and R32 are HFC gases used in newer air conditioners; R410A works at higher pressure than R22, and R32 is mildly flammable. They are not interchangeable, so always use the gas stated on the nameplate.

Yes. Send the model number and a photo of the old inverter board, sensor or compressor, and we confirm what can be supplied. Inverter boards are model-specific, so the exact part number matters.
