AC Spare Parts Checklist Before Summer: What Oman Contractors Should Stock
In Oman, the weeks before the hottest months decide how smoothly the summer goes for maintenance teams. Units that have run all winter come under full load, and the same parts fail again and again. Stocking them early turns emergency calls into routine visits. Here is a checklist for contractors, AMC companies and workshops.
1. Start and run capacitors
The most frequent failure. Keep a range of microfarad and voltage ratings that matches the units you maintain, including dual capacitors for outdoor units.
2. Contactors and relays
Constant switching burns contacts. Stock contactors and relays in the coil voltages you use.
3. Condenser fan motors
Dust, heat and salt kill outdoor fan motors. Carry the common ratings of condenser fan motors together with matching capacitors.
4. Thermostats and sensors
Small and cheap, but a faulty sensor can stop a whole unit. Keep spare sensors and thermostats for the models you service.
5. Remote controls and filters
Lost handsets and clogged filters generate many service calls. Remote controls and filters are quick wins.
6. Filter driers, valves and gas
For refrigerant work, keep filter driers, flare nuts and the gas types you use. See our refrigerant gas supplier page.
How to order the whole list
Write the part numbers and quantities in one list, add the brand and model of the units, and tell us where to deliver. Send it through the quotation request and ask for volume pricing. Our AC spare parts wholesaler service quotes mixed lists together, and our supplier page explains how repeat orders work.
Stocking is easier when you know what each area needs. Coastal sites such as Sohar and Muscat add coils and boards to the list, while inland towns such as Nizwa add filters and extra fan motors.
